Rev. Ernest Antwi Agyei, the founder and President of God’s Victorious Christian Ministries was born in Kumasi to the late Rev. Dr. P. S. Antwi-Agyei (former Chaplain of Kumasi Academy SHS) and Mrs. Mercy Antwi -Agyei. When he was born, his maternal grandfather told his mother that he would be a great person.
Right from his infancy, one could see that he was a special child, with signs of smartness. He started his education at Prempeh College Kindergarten till his father was transferred to Kumasi Academy as Baptist Chaplain and tutor of the school. He continued his education at Asokore Mampong Catholic Primary and full Gospel Baptist Educational Complex which was founded by his father. As a boy his father sometimes took him on some of the revivals he conducted in some Baptist Churches. He had his secondary school education at Nigritian College and later continued at Kumasi Academy.
On completion of his Six Form, he had a strong calling of God upon his life into the full-time ministry.
This was not surprising as his father later told him that he had committed him to the Lord as his first born for His service.
Following the call, even though the anointing of God was strong upon him, he decided to prepare himself for the ministry by attending Bible School. He attended Shiloh Bible School. He and his friend, Pastor Kofi Nyamekye founded a fellowship called the End Time Militia at Second Coming Baptist church which they assisted his father to establish at Sepe Timpom, where they were used powerfully by God.
For various reasons, they moved the fellowship which was mainly made up of some of the youth in Second Coming Baptist church, Kumaca old students including Pastor Solomon Domfeto Kings College at Airport Roundabout. Upon completion of his Bible School, he was ordained in to full-time ministry and he decided to found the God’s Victorious Christian ministry on 1st November, 1998 about 25 years ago. Some of the members of the fellowship decided to join him and others left.
Rev Ernest Antwi-Agyei was used mightily by God in the youth ministry and received citation from churches and schools including Kumasi High, Kumasi Academy and Kumasi Anglican Secondary School where he met his wife then Martha Owusu who was a student in the school.
Upon completion of her school, Martha Owusu also entered the same Bible School (Shiloh Bible School ) and was also ordained into the ministry by Archbishop S.R. Addae. They later got married on 23rd December, 2000 and they have five children, Mercy Antwi-Agyei, P.S Antwi-Agyei, Joshua Kofi Nyamekye, Daniel Antwi-Agyei and Joyce Ammish Antwi-Agyei.
